Sahab Key: the Innago alternative for professional landlords
Innago is free for landlords, and for a couple of simple units free may honestly be enough. Sahab Key is two dollars a unit a month because it runs the whole professional operation: every building keeps its own books and its own Stripe payout account, balanced to the cent.
- $2 a unit a month
- $50 a month minimum
- No setup fees
- No free trial, no contract
Who each product is really for
The honest answer is that Innago and Sahab Key charge differently because they are built to carry different amounts of the work.
Innago is free property management software for landlords and small managers. As of August 2026 its site says exactly that: no monthly fee, no setup fee, no contract, and its FAQ explains that Innago makes money through small transaction fees paid by tenants, two dollars per ACH payment and 2.99 percent on card payments, plus tenant screening billed to the applicant at thirty to thirty-five dollars. For that price of zero you get rent collection with autopay, lease e-signing, free rental applications, maintenance requests with tenant photos, and income and expense tracking. If you have one or two straightforward units, that is a lot of software for no money.
Sahab Key is built for landlords and small managers who run rentals as a business. Each building keeps its own books and its own Stripe payout account, so rent routes straight to the right owner and the books balance to the cent. Section 8 housing authority payments are tracked alongside tenant payments, owners and investors get a portal with per-building payouts, and every workspace is reviewed before it opens, usually within one business day. It is two dollars a unit a month, and the fifty-dollar minimum covers your first twenty-five units.
Pricing, side by side
Sahab Key publishes its full price on the pricing page: two dollars per unit per month, a fifty-dollar monthly minimum that covers the first twenty-five units, and flat monthly add-ons if you want them. Forty units is eighty dollars a month. One hundred units is two hundred. No setup fees, no contract, and past two hundred units you talk to us about an enterprise plan.
Innago publishes a price of zero and means it. As of August 2026, innago.com states there is no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no contract, and its FAQ is plain about the model: revenue comes from tenant-paid transaction fees of two dollars per ACH payment and 2.99 percent on credit and debit cards, which the landlord can choose to absorb, plus tenant screening at thirty to thirty-five dollars charged to the applicant by default, with a ten-dollar income verification add-on.
The tenant-side fee structures are closer than the headline prices suggest. Sahab Key also shows the payment processing fee to the tenant by default, the manager can choose to absorb it per payment method, and debit and prepaid cards are never charged a fee at all. The real difference is the software fee itself. Innago's zero dollars funds a lighter tool. Sahab Key's two dollars a unit funds the operation: separate books and a separate Stripe payout account for every building, Section 8 payment tracking, an owner and investor portal with per-building payouts, and a reviewed workspace.

Two dollars a unit runs the whole operation.
Every building keeps its own books and its own Stripe payout account, balanced to the cent.
What this means in real dollars
Put real numbers on it. Innago's software price at every one of these sizes is zero. Here is what Sahab Key charges, and what the two dollars is doing.
- 12 units The minimum covers you, and every building still gets its own books and its own payout account. $50 a month
- 40 units Straight multiplication, two dollars a unit. $80 a month
- 100 units Owner payouts and Section 8 tracking stay per building as you grow. $200 a month
If free still nets out ahead for your situation, that is a fair result and Innago is a fine pick. What Sahab Key's fee buys is the operation itself: books that balance to the cent, rent that routes to each building's own Stripe payout account, housing authority payments tracked next to tenant payments, and a portal your owners and investors can actually read. If you are early, the plain-English breakdown for small portfolios walks through the arithmetic.
When Innago is the better choice
Credibility matters more than a clean sweep. Free is a real price, and there are landlords for whom Innago is the right call.
A couple of simple units
If you manage one or two units and mainly need rent collected, a lease signed, and a maintenance inbox, Innago's free plan may genuinely be everything you need, and the tenant-paid fees stay small.
Screening inside the same tool
Innago offers tenant screening billed to the applicant. Sahab Key does not offer tenant screening at all, so if you want screening built into your management software, Innago is the better pick.
Switching to Sahab Key
Getting started is quick, not a project plan. You create your workspace, and it is reviewed before it opens, usually within one business day. Then you add your buildings, units, leases, and tenants in the app, connect a Stripe payout account for each building, which is required before your tenants can pay, and invite your tenants. They can pay online the same day, turn on autopay that runs on the due date and retries failed payments, and report maintenance with a photo. There is no data-import service and no onboarding fee, and if you get stuck, a person answers your email.
There is no free trial and no contract. You start when you are ready, the price follows your portfolio, and you can cancel anytime. When you want the full breakdown, the pricing page shows every number, including the add-ons.
