Who each product is really for

Rentec Direct and Sahab Key both price in the open and both let you sign up without a sales call. The real difference is how the price moves as your portfolio grows, and what is already in the box at that price.

Rentec Direct is flat-rate property management software built for landlords and licensed property managers. As of August 2026 its published pricing lists Rentec Starter at a flat $25 a month, capped at 10 properties or tenants, and Rentec Pro and Rentec PM both starting at a flat $50 a month, a price the site states holds through 2,500 units rather than climbing per unit. Rentec PM adds trust accounting for licensed managers. Setup and onboarding are free, there is no term commitment, and e-signature (through a Dropbox Sign integration) and two-way texting are already included in the price. Reviewers commonly describe the interface as dated, with mobile access built as a responsive website rather than a native app.

Sahab Key is two dollars a unit a month with a fifty-dollar minimum, and the price scales with your portfolio rather than sitting flat. What you get for that price is a per-building Stripe payout account for every property you manage, so one building's rent never mixes with another's books, Section 8 housing authority tracking, white-label branding with a custom domain, and a tenant portal with autopay, all in the base plan. Lease e-signature and texting are flat add-ons rather than included.
